Spokane Cocktail Week
Presented by Counter Culture, Spokane Cocktail Week is our flagship event—an annual celebration of the local hospitality industry designed to drive business, build community, and elevate the craft.
Throughout the week, bars and restaurants across Spokane showcase custom cocktail menus featuring sponsor brands, while a full schedule of industry-focused classes, tastings, and events provides valuable opportunities for education, networking, and inspiration.

Spokane Cocktail Week
During Spokane Cocktail Week, bars and restaurants across the city will showcase curated menus built around our partner spirits. Each participating venue will craft 3 to 5 signature cocktails that highlight their unique style and creativity, with at least one zero-proof option to ensure everyone can take part.
It’s an invitation to experience Spokane through flavor, hospitality, and community. In addition to the specialty menus, the week will feature immersive education sessions, brand activations, social mixers, and stories shared over every shake, stir, and sip.
Spirit Expo 2026
Spirits Expo brings the bar to life. This multi-brand tasting and education event puts consumers, industry pros, and curious enthusiasts face-to-face with the makers, stories, and flavors behind today’s most exciting spirits. Taste broadly, learn deeply, and discover the brands you love — along with the ones you’ll be talking about long after the event.
Spaghett bar
Welcome to the Spaghett Bar, where your favorite “breakfast beer” meets bold Italian bitterness. Campari and Miller High Life come together in this cult-favorite serve, delivered with style in partnership. Light, crisp, and just the right amount of playful — it’s a crowd-pleasing classic with personality.
Par & Pour: Wine Beyond the Glass
Par & Pour: Wine Beyond the Glass is an interactive wine education class exploring how wine can play a dynamic role behind the bar and within modern beverage programs. Guests will learn how to build better cocktails using wine, develop smart wine programs in limited spaces, and make more strategic product selections tailored to their clientele. Designed for both creativity and practicality, this session offers real-world tools for maximizing quality, efficiency, and guest appeal — no matter the size of your program.
Vindictive wings and Screw Driver Bar Take SPokane
Mind Eraser Monday just got dangerous.
Vindictive Wings is pulling up to Durkin’s with their famous wings for one night and one night only, teaming up with Screwdriver Bar to wreck your Monday in the best way possible.

Botanical Apothecary with Fever Tree
An immersive, garden-inspired experience highlighting balance as craft — bartender-built precision meets Fever-Tree’s uncompromising mixer quality.
This event celebrates the idea that a great cocktail is only as good as what you mix it with.
Agave Oasis- With The Backbar Project and Espolon
Step into Agave Oasis, a high-energy tasting experience inspired by sun-soaked flavors and agave spirits. Featuring refreshing spritz cocktails and ice-cold Tepache Sazón, this four-hour pop-up brings tropical color, easy sipping, and laid-back island energy to the event — presented in collaboration with Espolòn and The Back Bar Project.
Badass Barware- History of Distilling with Dry Fly and Browne
Join Badass Barwares for an interactive class on the history of distilling in Washington, guided by Browne Family Spirits and Dry Fly Distilling.
You’ll learn to make three thoughtfully designed cocktails while unpacking how Washington’s distillers, bartenders, and makers built the cocktail culture we’re part of today.
A Taste of Scotland with Pernod Ricard and Torra Tea
Taste of Scotland: From Barrel to Bottle
Explore the diverse whisky regions of Scotland through a guided tasting featuring Glenlivet (Speyside), Laphroaig (Islay), Dalmore (Highland), and Auchentoshan (Lowland).
This class focuses on barrel-to-bottle storytelling, breaking down how time, wood, and regional tradition shape flavor from start to finish. Taste how whisky evolves, compare stylistic contrasts across Scotland, and better understand flavor development over time.
Sip and Sabor- The Science of Sparkle
Sip & Sabor: The Science of Sparkle is a seated, trade-focused tasting that explores the ritual, science, and celebration behind sparkling wine. Featuring four guided pours from around the world and a live Champagne sabering demonstration, this class blends history, technique, and safety with hands-on education—ending in a post-saber toast worth celebrating.
Olympia Cocktail Week- COMING SOON
During Olympia Cocktail Week, bars and restaurants throughout the city will feature curated menus built around partner spirits. Each participating venue will craft 3 to 5 signature drinks that highlight their creativity, with at least one zero-proof option to ensure inclusivity.
It’s an invitation to explore Olympia through flavor, place, and community. Beyond the menus, the week will feature education sessions, brand activations, social mixers, and stories shared over every shake, stir, and sip.
Old forester scratch and sniff
The “Old Forester Experience: Scratch & Sniff” is a sensory-driven event hosted by Boneyard in Spokane. It likely features guided whiskey tastings, education about Old Forester’s expressions, and an interactive element designed to engage the senses—possibly using aroma cards or a scratch-and-sniff format. These types of events are great for cocktail lovers and spirits enthusiasts looking to deepen their knowledge.

Jake Eimers is a beloved member of the Spokane hospitality community—known for his warmth, generosity, and dedication behind the bar and beyond. Whether he’s serving up expertly crafted cocktails or lending a hand to friends and coworkers, Jake is the kind of person who shows up for others. Now, after suffering a broken arm, he needs our help. We’re coming together to support Jake with a fundraiser to assist with his recovery and time off work.
