This city's bar community is something special.

The Basics

What is Spokane Cocktail Week?

What is Spokane Cocktail Week?

Spokane Cocktail Week (SCW) is a citywide celebration of the people, spirits, and creativity that define Spokane's growing craft cocktail scene. Running May 31 – June 7, 2026, it brings together 50+ local bars, distillers, and local hospitality professionals to share their craft with the community — and with each other.

Whether you're a longtime cocktail nerd, a casual bar-goer, or just curious about what Spokane's drink scene has to offer, there's something for you this week.

Who organizes Spokane Cocktail Week?

SCW is produced by Counter Culture, a Spokane-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting local hospitality industry professionals through education, mentorship, and wellness support. We're a small, local operation with a big belief that Spokane's bar community deserves to be celebrated and invested in.

Proceeds from Cocktail Week go directly to Counter Culture's mission. When you participate — as a guest, a bar, or a sponsor — you're investing in the future of Spokane's hospitality community.

When and where does it take place?

May 31 – June 7, 2026. Participating bars are spread across Spokane neighborhoods including Downtown, North Spokane, South Hill, and Spokane Valley. See the full list at counterculturespo.com.

Is there a cost to attend?

Attending SCW is free — you just pay for the cocktails you order at each bar. The Passport is free to pick up at any participating bar.

If you want the full experience — industry events, secret cocktails, exclusive perks — the Honorary Bartender Pass is $40 and available at counterculturespo.com.

The Passport

How does the passport work?

What is the SCW Passport?

The Passport is a free physical stamp card. Each bar has its own custom-designed commemorative stamp — collect them as you visit throughout the week. Passports can also be picked up at the Spirits Expo before the week begins.

Where do I get a passport?

Passports are available at all participating bars starting May 31, and can also be picked up early at the Spirits Expo. No app, no download required — just walk in and ask your bartender.

How does the stamping work?

Each bar has its own custom commemorative stamp. When you order a SCW cocktail, ask your bartender to stamp your passport — it's that simple.

Do I have to visit every bar?

Not at all. Visit as many or as few bars as you'd like — the passport is about discovery and fun, not completion. With 50+ bars to explore, it's a great excuse to try somewhere new.

About the SCW menu

What are the SCW cocktails?

Each participating bar crafted a special menu of cocktails created specifically for Spokane Cocktail Week — not their standard menu offerings. These are bartender-driven, often showcasing sponsor spirits, seasonal ingredients, and creative concepts that reflect each bar's personality.

Browse one featured cocktail from every participating bar at counterculturespo.com/cocktail-highlights-2026. Every bar also has a table tent with a QR code that links directly to their full SCW cocktail menu — just scan and go.

How do I find a specific bar's cocktail menu?

Every participating bar has a table tent with a QR code that links directly to their Spokane Cocktail Week menu online. Scan it at the bar to see full ingredients, descriptions, and sponsor info for that location's drinks. You can also browse featured cocktails from every bar at counterculturespo.com/cocktail-highlights-2026.

Are there non-alcoholic options?

Yes — nearly every participating bar has at least one non-alcoholic SCW cocktail this year. These are fully crafted, thoughtful drinks — not afterthoughts. Look for the Non-Alcoholic designation in the cocktail guide or on bar menus.

Why are certain spirits featured in the cocktails?

SCW sponsors — spirits brands like Buffalo Trace, Grey Goose, Fords Gin, Diplomático, Espolòn, Fernet-Branca, and others — help fund the infrastructure that makes Cocktail Week possible: the website, the passports, the stamps, and the events.

Every featured product was selected by the bar's own bartenders as a genuine creative fit — there's no mandated recipe, just a spirit to work with. The cocktails are real; the creativity is real.
